If you are leaving xwitter, wind down your account properly. It's a multi-day process.
1) Request an archive your tweets, then download to your computer
2) Delete your tweets using a 3rd party tool (see https://www.wikihow.com/Delete-All-Tweets)
3) Delete account
@DavidSalo @SSNBubblehead any suggestions if you've been locked out for 2 years? They want more personal info & I have long deleted the email account it was attached to. No personal info ever used there but still, I'd prefer it was erased.
I don't know the answer to this but I've boosted it in case someone else has an idea.

• Make sure that you're removing comments on other people's tweets as well as your own tweets
• Delete your followers
• Delete everything you're following
• Delete likes (if possible)
• Remove or change personal name, address, phone number, language, and any other information on your profile that can easily lead back to you.
