Sidenote: taking sim out, or even switching device off, a device can still be tracked - Google's Find My Device feature displays the last recorded location of your phone, even if it's turned off, other methods are also available - All phones, whether iPhone or Android, can be tracked down without a SIM card.... Not easy to do but can be done.........also can track a smartphone just by knowing the phone number
