No official word has been given, but it appears that Red Crescent rescuers have reached the helicopter crash site a few minutes ago. No signs of life have been seen. The most likely conclusion is that all aboard the helicopter perished, including the President of Iran, the Foreign Minister, and the governor of East Azerbaijan (an Iranian province).
