You know how you walk into an endodontist's office, and walk out paying twice what they originally quoted you for treatment? Yeah, it's been that kind of a day.
@Bliss Fortunate to have pretty good dental insurance, but for the treatment I had, they only pay 40%. Had to do the rest out of pocket.

@SSNBubblehead Because dentistry is the wild west of no regulation. Charge what you want, CT scan everyone twice.
@MidnightRider Definitely a racket. I only got CT scammed once. The doc didn't "like was she saw" on the standard x-ray. Oops, that's another $132.00
