Thread: A day after the 2016 election I was working in AC. I walked down to the beach at sat down in front of trump's hotel which was vacant rotting on our beautiful shore. A muslim man sat next to me and asked me what was wrong as I was visibly upset.

I said that this was going to be really really bad for America and particularly horrifying for certain people. He said he didn't vote. He seemed to think his vote didn't matter because nothing ever changes for people like him. I said I'm sorry he felt that way and hoped he'd reconsider and we said our goodbye's. As I walked away I spit on the building.
I'm thinking of this man today and hope he and his family is well. I hope he's changed his mind now.
