They'll have to pay first class rates, which is spendy. I doubt they have the $$ to do it everywhere. Which would lead to what would be the strategy and where. I assume it would be to disrupt swing states that are showing most Rs have already returned their ballots. Would be really really tricky to pull off.
@Mrysdale Yes, tricky and you definitely have it right thinking it would be swing states. When I saw the percentage Biden vs /mail vs voting in person it made me think. Then the fact that he will try everything.
We'll have to look to see if it happens, and what the results are. Could be an ironic moment if the ballots that get caught in the logjam are the R ballots that don't get counted and their lack tips that state/electoral district.
@Mrysdale I'm signed up for mail in and received an email today saying that I should receive it Sept/Oct. If I receive it in Sept I may mail it but if Oct ahhh I may just walk it into the clerks office.

Neighbor: I love it when the County Clerk is willing to call you up and tell you that the signature isn't a match, would you like to come down and resign it.
Santa Cruz, CA - Gail Pellerin - had a really tiny "rejected for signature rate" because she made it a mission to do just that. Like maybe 50-100 voters....
Read the inserts that come with your ballot. Also, in CA, the ballot envelope actually tells you the address of your local precinct if there is one.
Thanks! It's not always the easiest thing to do, but honestly, I love being that person who everyone appreciates working so they can vote. I make a difference and I'm really grateful to be able to be that person. (No wonder I'm working the Census now!)
@Mrysdale Check me off, filled out my census 😁
@SPFX @Mrysdale
I'm definitely going with a dropbox this time...
My state (Oregon) has been vote-by-mail since before I began voting, so I don't know any other way.
I had my ballot rejected in 2018 due to a signature mismatch; the process to update it here was easy and I was able to verify my ballot was counted once I corrected it. :)
