For the first morning in over two weeks, clothes aren't draped over the roman balustrade.

There are a few punchlist items including the actual hardware of the shower, which is being delivered here. So, we still haven't "baptised" the new shower yet.

Ours had problems, but on a 50 year old home, I expected nothing less. You know, when you hear the subs arguing amongst themselves how to something basic because of the flaws of the house.

Progress was made today.

The bedroom is / was a disaster area.

#Remodel

My door is well hung. It awaits trim and finishing.

But, after they left, I spent about 90 minutes dusting everything in the bedroom, down to the floor.

The toilet is back in and plugged in.

I've got a brand new set of sheets and a comforter on the recently dusted bed.

I'd say we are about 85% complete.

It's the Friday before Labor Day and I have laborers working hard to make sure I'm happy with the two deliverables before wrapping up.

I am. I'm easy like Sunday morning.

I wanna be high, so high

It's a Friday before a three day weekened for some.

The GC of my #remodel finally messaged me back last night that yeah, Thursday sucked and he'd be out today to finish out plumbing and do my door.

That should just leave some painting and the completion of the remodel of the laundry room, which I'll happily take into the weekend.
