I'm still waiting on the final price but there's a big change already.

The sauna room is now going to become a huge 2 x walk in shower. The old shower will become a jet tub. Raising the ceiling in the water closet/jet tub space is near impossible 😞 .

I actually end up getting what I wanted in the first place. The water closet must be separate from the shower in my book.

We were expecting bodies behind some of the weird stuff, but losing ceiling height to keep air conditioning is easy call

My remodeler/designer/contractor agrees with me about the door from the MBR to the den.

Previous owners and removed it and walled it up so the den could become a "bedroom".

This was a perhaps practical at the time, but ultimately a bad decision.

An old colleague who has held high level positions was looking for work, put out the call on LinkedIn.

I reposted it as did others. I just read his gratitude post for both finding a job and realizing old colleagues can care.
