I met with several managers yesterday (some senior) my boss and the PM regarding this project scheduled to be completed next year.

She began by saying she's being asked by the executives if it could be completed earlier. I presented my already well baked plan, my preparations and the ask.

All were on board. It just pays to have the answers before the questions are asked.
