Over three days, I pushed the point that AI *should* replace the toil we all perform. We should not derive human value out of menial tasks, though I do understand it.

"Yes, we are having trouble finding the right people. Either applicants are too young and inexperienced to deserve the pay or they're like us, with some even demanding CEO level pay. Just, NO."

The first was the CFO, followed by a couple of other CxOs including their top engineer. 🤔
Mine became quite the esteemed table all of a sudden.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN this is my major objections to using AI for art. People produce art because they love to do it. I see no benefit in automating it.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN in my field of work, I use the line, "I want to automate the 80% rote work that you do all the time in this job so you can focus on the 20% that's different and new and requires a person." For most ppl that really resonates because they have all lived the 80% rote work and they stay in their jobs because they love the 20% creative thinking.
