Our son's #FailureToLaunch had been a problem.

"It's a culture clash," my buddy said to me over lunch a couple of weeks ago. His son who got a degree to become a diplomat now wants to become Phoenix PD (good on him.).

He nailed it, and I told him. Our 22 year old's virtual life didn't square with the realities of the world. The war on DEI has only increased pressure for him to "normalize".

I handed our son both his passport and a social security card.

Him: "I guess I should keep these."
