These 50 year old homes must be a nightmare for remodels. We all expect some "bodies in the walls" as the layers of papering over of flaws are literally stripped back.

And I didn't love this house to start. A neighbor asked, "You bought your house for the view, right?"

No. It's axiomatic in RE. I bought it for the location.

Anyway, as painful as this phase is, it's completion will be most satisfying. The improvements I make here will echo through this home's life, long after I''m gone.
