The largest of the moray eels, growing up to 3 m and weighing 30 kg. Giant Morays live in holes and generally hunt by night: locating their prey by their excellent sense of smell. Moray Eels undergo a sex change during growth, changing from male to female.

@SCUBATravel They seem to have amazing memories, an recognize people. I used to vacation a lot in Grenada and there is a spot on the reef there where one always was. Even with other divers (who wanted to feed it) it would come to me, swimming across my arms or legs and even following a short distance. I wasn't so much of a fan either.
