Future president Harris has unveiled a policy to provide $6,000 credit for newborns. In one breath I am glad young families finally get a break.
In another, I worry that we're encouraging over population. I also worry that this will put more money in the hands of the Christianists so they can give it to the misguided GOP.
Does someone out here have any thoughts on this?
@justsaywhy Well that money will be used on the hospital bill for that birth.

For sure, if you're considering the medical expense of having a baby, $6000 is nothing. Many insurers cover even less

@justsaywhy That's what I'm thinking. People might want more kids if health insurance was universal and nobody paid out of pocket for the pleasure of using it.
