@ExecutiveFunction404 I went to 2 different high schools (San Diego & north of Seattle) West Coast... Goths, punks, the preppy boys (wrestlers and cheer) wore guyliner, and Jared who wore black women's clothes and used the girls bathroom.
We didn't have anyone else wearing it by me - east coast, NYC suburbs, but I spent the majority of my time in the city. Not even raver guys wore eyeliner, which was my scene.
@ExecutiveFunction404 I just came from British Secondary School 3 years of uniforms. San Diego high school was influenced by Hollywood they saw it, they copied it. Seattle High school was wild and way more cliques.

Wasn't that mainly on punk kids & drag queens? That's what I remember from y2k era.
