I requested a day of in August, MONTHS AGO. I even checked the calendar to see if there was anyone else requesting it off. Not a single person was written on the date, so it was wide open.
Today I get asked why I needed it off and if I could change it for a different day.
I was like nope, it’s an appointment I’ve been waiting over 6 months to go to.
But I might tell them, yea I’ll come in after being poked and prodded on for incentive pay……….

@Ruthat no, really they cannot ask the why. The issue is with management and several people okaying requests to be off and not communicating with other management and putting it on the calendar. It’s their problem. And now management will actually have to get on the floor and do work that day 😈
