Hi all ^_^

I need to vent & just... just.

My dad died in early March. We went home hospice & I was caregiver because I'm less disabled. I was right there w/him but had to step away-when I got back, he was gone.

He passed alone.

Insult to injury, we're losing our home. We need to be out by 12 May. Going from a 5 BR to a 15 foot truck. Also losing a car from dad, having family emergencies early AM...

We keep going because my Better Half is a badass <3

Anyway, thanks for reading.

Cat tax!

Sometimes it seems that people wait for loved ones to step away before they let go --- like it's easier for both of you that way.

@AlphaCentauri A friend told me that yesterday after I wrote this and it reminded me of what one of the hospice workers said the day before he passed away.

I freely admit I struggle with that. But you're another person saying exactly the same thing, so even more of a reason to accept it and let it help.

Thank you :)
