@Dogofalltrees I have shot Leica and Nikon for 40 years. The look also comes from deliberate application of depth of field, use of the extreme lens sharpness (the lenses have higher resolving power than the cameras) and exceptional contrast. The color is carefully tuned on the sensors to create a bit of pop (M240) but mostly very neutral color. It's a very particular camera that makes you think and lets you see outside the frame lines as an extension of your eye. Not for everyone.
