@RobbVaules I am born and raised in Oregon and never wore a cowboy hat in the wild west here. The ONLY time I did anything cowboy was when I wore semi cowboy boots way back in the early 90's sort of like this: https://www.bootbarn.com/roper-womens-ankle-western-boots/0453V5.html
