With the Man from UNCLE sniper rifle.

It is the same type of 1960's era infrared scope used on the M-3 Carbine which was also seen in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
But Omega Man's scope is mounted on a Browning Model 1918 BAR and the Carbine that it came off of is seen in the background of some scenes.
Although used from late WW2 until Vietnam, they were expensive, heavy, broke down often, and were short ranged.
