I just boosted this--but it occurred to me, would it be effective to have a hashtag for the Syria updates--so if anyone needed or wanted to filter out the thread OR follow closely, they could do so?
@Minholkin A hashtag probably couldn't hurt.
I tend to avoid using hashtags when space is limited.
