Who are the accounts that can hurt Twitter the most? I'd argue it's not going to be celebrities unless the celebrities leave Twitter loudly and promise to engage more on a new platform.
I think Heather Cox Richardson, who engages daily and shares useful content AND has the largest substack following in the world (last I knew) would be a massive hit.
Who else? Orgs like CNN sure, but people?
@philipcardella The celebs don't care as long as they can still do sponsored posts and the news orgs don't care as long as they can still fire hose click bait. It will be a long time before any substantial change happens the the bird site's population, if at all.
@Redcarpet I'll take that action. Musk fired the three people most responsible for making it run AT ALL. Over half the employees have threatened to quit, allegedly, and he's allegedly claimed to want to fire 3/4 of the staff.
The place was a constant forest fire of hate and vitriol with what they had and this dude want to make it less adaptive to that?

@Redcarpet So far, every day has been Musk just getting a fire house attached to jet fuel and putting it on the fire. But, stranger things have happened. He could grow up all of a sudden and have the maturity of an 18 year old, finally. We'll see. I expect him to fail, as he has with literally everything else (fired from PayPal, Tesla and SpaceX needed billions from US taxpayers to NOT fold, one or both were FILING for bankruptcy when saved).
