@Hellwalker so glad I quit getting on FB
I can't imagine how many Act Blue ads I'd be getting right now.
@rokkinbobokkin make sure to vote in democrats in the next election so you can read even more strongly worded statements
@Hellwalker I always cringe and do it anyways. Ineffective is about one pube width better than fascism.
@rokkinbobokkin obviously they’re better than the alternative but it’s like watching sociopaths vs willing victims
@Hellwalker the Dem Party failed at every single turn before we even got to March. I was so excited to vote the first time. It took less than 2 years to realize I never wanted to be in their parties. The only thing Joe did well, wasn't even on the horizon when we voted. Ukraine. Now, the only way they can stimulate any kind of motion is to scare their base and any sane woman into shreiking terror. Punt that football again Dems. SMFH
@rokkinbobokkin @Hellwalker you think your the first person to think this? Same thing happened in 2010, dem voters pissed and moaned about Obama not giving immediate results and bam the tea party took over and we’ve been dealing with it ever since. Yet the right votes red in LOCKSTEP every single YEAR. Then they spend all their time in congress sabotaging so democrats only get Pyrrhic victories. So hold your nose and keep voting blue cuz the socialist revolution ain’t coming yet.
@Hellwalker @rokkinbobokkin be that as it may, people should have held their nose en masse just like the republicans. But democrats only seem to care enough to show up every 4 years if they are promised something.
It’s may be moot At this point any way with gutted voting rights and gerrymandering
@Redcarpet @Hellwalker It shouldn't be on me. It should be on Joe and Hillary and Whoever. It's on them to win back rural voters and police and etc... It's NOT my fault. I do what I'm supposed to do. The Dems keep failing us. And it's still better than fascism, but they gotta do better. They have to earn the vote. Not treat me like a dog that shit the rug.
@rokkinbobokkin @Redcarpet Clinton set a terrible example for the base as far as blaming voters and the left. The instinct was probably already there but she gave everyone the green light and made it worse.
@Hellwalker @Redcarpet In my opinion, it was Bill Clinton that started that. The buzz for the Cold War kids seeing Russia fall wore off, and they saw they weren't in great shape. They wanted those jobs back that Reagan shipped off. The Rust Belt was crippled. Crime all over. Bill pretended like nothing happened. Like so many people were nobody. But the tech bubble was brewing and money got made.
@rokkinbobokkin @Redcarpet Clinton did 1 rally for Obama after she lost that primary. Her voters defected for Mccain in huge numbers something like 40% and a group of Hillary people started a pro Mccain superpac. With that history she has the nerve to blame Sanders and his voters for her loss. His voters came out for her. He did the rallies. It’s just some kind of over entitled personality flaw.
@Hellwalker @Redcarpet yeah, that was gross. I remember that. She pulled the same stunt on Bernie when they ran against each other. That was a huge turn off. That guy was offering voters real things we could write math on. She just acted like it was her due. I got pretty liquored up to cast my vote for her against Trump. But his base ..had all the rabid earmarks of a Fascist movement. I had lived in the South. I knew who he was appealing to. I knew it was ugly.
@rokkinbobokkin @Hellwalker your not wrong. I just don’t see this what we’re doing right now going back and forth among the right and it makes me pull my hair out.
But I’ll leave it at that.
@Redcarpet @Hellwalker just going to have to get used to people that barely want to support Neo Liberal Democrats. It never serves common people. It's all about markets and lobbying dollars for them, and it's just wearing people out. I don't hate anybody that wants to preserve voting rights or body autonomy, freedom from religion.. I share those values. Heartily. I'm a true believer in those rights. The party has to do better at supporting the people to make them feel the same way.
@Redcarpet @Hellwalker PS: I've never even voted a Republican for a city office. I cast one vote for a Greener once. And I'm hella tired of Democrats making wild assumptions about Socialism or secretly voting Right. I don't talk like a Democrat or repeat their talking points, because I'm not a Democrat. I'm Anti Conservative. I'm Anti Libertarian. I believe the government is for the people, not the corporations. We have capitalism for them. It should be enough. But Joe and Hillary don't agree.
@Redcarpet @Hellwalker Hillary won the popular vote. People turned out. But the Dems barely ever deliver anything they offer, theatric panderings at representation, Want to win? Appeal to labor. Hits every group where it matters. But they don't do that. Instead, people like you get mad at people like me. But I didn't create the Electoral College. I didn't write party policy. I do my part. I vote. I vote and vote. But the popular idea among Blue voters is to still blame people like me.
Why?
