If you think it's hard to buy a home right now, you're not alone. Consumer sentiment says this is the worst time to buy a home in history. Now, many consumers weren't around with me in 1980 to see 18% mortgage rates, so it's all relative. Still, hard times for home buyers.

@RealSeanBrodrick

What if you are selling a home in order to buy a new home in a different state?

@One4uTwo4me That chart was a measure of broad sentiment, not of anyone's specific situation.

@RealSeanBrodrick

My question was not to debunk your chart but to ask an honest question. When I tell people I am going to sell my house and move to another state, they tell me now is the worst time.

@One4uTwo4me The worst time for them is not the worst time for you. I also am thinking of selling my home and getting the hell out of Florida. I'll do it no matter what a consumer sentiment chart says. Just be aware that your next mortgage (if you get one) will likely be at a much (relatively) higher rate than your last one

@RealSeanBrodrick

No mortgage. Sell high, buy high. Sell low, buy low. Same difference is how I see it.
