@RavenCutrereULC what about the fate for following a false prophet ( someone who lies about the future for example Trump)

@RavenCutrereULC a babysitter turned me into an atheist when I was 4 years old by berating me for not knowing how to say grace before lunch. It made me question these “god people”. Thanks lady! 👏

@CanisPundit @RavenCutrereULC i became at least agnostic by age 4 because the church people couldn't explain the discrepancies in their bible to me. "you just have to have faith" didn't cut it...

@redenigma @RavenCutrereULC makes me wonder how prevalent it is for children to see through the illusion.

@CanisPundit @RavenCutrereULC i'm autistic. i have trouble suspending belief in rational thought. the inconsistencies in the bible were obvious to me (i was reading shortly before i was 3 years old. i was reading anything with print, including dictionaries, encyclopedias & the bible. i much preferred my dad's sci fi books to the bible though)

@CanisPundit @RavenCutrereULC but it may be fairly common for kids to see through it. that's why they need to be coerced into believing by threats & punishment

@redenigma @CanisPundit I also have Autism, and I understand where you are coming from.

@redenigma @CanisPundit @RavenCutrereULC

“Have faith”
“It’s god’s way”
“The lord works in mysterious ways”
in Ukrainian, “yak tse bude“, roughly translating to “that’s just how it is”.

Such bullshit rattled around my cranium until I hit my teens and started to think for myself.
