Do you know what the tree species is? I don't think I've ever seen that.

@CJShaneArtBooks I don't know (but I'll give it some thought). I'm pretty sure that it is just some native shrub. After this short early-spring display it just kind of fades into the background greenery.
@CJShaneArtBooks After doing a search on this, I believe it to be a Boxelder (Rubrum negundo).
@RandallTT I looked at a Wikipedia article with a map. Mostly it's further east of me, and looks like in the west, it's higher elevations. Nice to learn about a new plant..or tree.
