I don't know about the rest of you CoSoNauts but I'm getting pretty damn suspicious of all the recent big accounts over on the bird site suddenly getting "religion" over the corporatist post.news alternative.

Given well-established alternatives, like CoSo, which they reject, ignore or shun at every opportunity, I'm wondering if maintaining some corporatist connections or financial gain (ad share) is driving such behavior.

Trying or not, when you post here, it's much more influential, than there. Unless, of course, if you had 120k followers there and like 10 followers here.

I get that here follower count is not important, except that you are heard. There, you are not.

Careful of your posts CoSoNauts

Remember, your follower count is 1200x more influential on CoSo compared to the bird site.

This means 100 followers on this site is the equivalent of 120k followers on the bird. Your voice is seen by a much higher percentage of this community.

I'm not just posting the sanctuaries, I'm showing stats, like how George Takei found 170k followers in 1 week. Plus graphs of alternatives sites growth since Elon took over the bird app.

I'm sure I'm deboosted but I doubt my meager follower count means anything to them. If I were an influencer with 100k+ followers, they might get pissed.

I've been kinda trying to get kicked off by heavily promoting migration but I guess my follower count is not sufficient for them to care, yet. 🤣

It's sad, really sad.

Respect for Stephen Fry who simply left an image of GOODBYE in Scrabble tiles and deleted an account with 12.5 million followers. He broke the addiction. Now happily gaining new followers.

I do not run through a browser. Plugins don't help.

I rarely use any social media app on my computer. I am a phone user. The dark reader plugin doesn't work.
