Has anyone else here wondered whether Todd Blanche actually didn’t want to win the case for Trump? Was he willing to sacrifice his career for the good of the country? Perhaps, like Deep Throat, he won’t reveal that truth until he’s nearing the end of his life. Or am I letting my mystery writer’s imagination run amok?
Definitely you're running away in the weeds.
Blanche walked away from a partnership in a very big, high-level law firm to represent Trump, he left a LOT of money on the table to do this.
His problem was that he had a shitheel client, who insisted on things like denying he'd ever had sex with Daniels. He was literally the CAUSE of all the "salacious" stuff he's so mad about.
@mcfate Everybody knows Trump is a nightmare client who doesn’t pay his bills. What was Blanche’s motivation for taking the job and doing so badly that his career is toast?
I assume he demanded, and got, a seven-figure retainer up front, and he seems to have imagined he had some chance of actually winning this.
@REDonaldAuthor I'm thinking he was doing it to get more work defending conservatives... I wonder if he's even going to get paid.
@REDonaldAuthor run Forrest, run.
