No one makes a good pineapple coconut cake in my area. So I learned how to make the Pineapple curd and build one myself.

Oh to have such POWER!

Twitter is a hot MESS today:

Muck has NEW RULES!

Limited to READING 6000 tweets a day for blue checks, 600 posts per day for the serfs

Frozen accounts for "exceeding rate limit"

Just some Twitter trends right now...

Oh WHY did I find "Just Jigsaws" for my Android? Just finished my fourth one and earned enough game pissitrinos to buy a bunch of bird images.

I love being able to set the piece shape and number of pieces.

And ads are rare! I kill games that have ads every few minutes. Would rather pay for the good ones, but they're greedy.

Here's my second one. And thanks for fixing the photo orientation, Countersocial!

Hi folks! Been occupied for a while. Still here, waiting for the rain to stop coming through!

Working on my High Sierras rocks under water and water over water paintings.

It's taken time to switch from watercolor to acrylic after years.

This one isn't finished yet. It's getting there.

SCOTUS has stayed the order of the Trump appointed judge who fell on her ass, legally. Mifepristone will be available until Alito and Thomas act like bums for a while.

Taking a day off from work. Been battling with rocks in and under water...A California Sierra's sight. arrrgh. Fighting with a second version now.

Hard work today, switching from watercolor to acrylics after so many years. Totally opposite brainwork needed. In watercolor, you go from light to dark. In acrylic, you can go from dark to light. The new acrylics I bought are very full bodied. One little 4" tube could work a large mural! So I stocked up on plenty of titanium white to stretch it.

Here's my first work in acrylic in years. It's for a floral fabric print. Very anal retentive work. Tomorrow, It's clouds to clear my brain!

Happy Sunday, all. It's been a few days but I"m back. Wrapped up in practicing painting glass vases with stuff in them. I' do a final one on my good paper.. It's All About The Light.

This is me, post military and trying to find a way through disability, still in combat.

My first mural in San Leandro. The "Women in Art Make a Difference mural on Harlan Street" 1994. It's still there!

This stagecoach honors my favorite finds: The Best driver Wells Fargo had to bring President Garfield to California, a Black man named George Frazier Monroe!

Several black people went on to become famous stagecoach drivers, including one woman who hid her gender: Stagecoach Mary! Mary Fields...

This is my stagecoach mural miniature. The real mural was 8' x 16'...

Finishing up on my 2022 illuminations with the lettering, Found a font I want to use and just have to line it out before doing the lettering.

We illuminators are a dodgy bunch, with our pithy and enlightening words...on the surface, that is. This one is one less subtle than most... and I probably wont use these words to scandalize the grannies.

Back painted/hand painted entirely in transparent watercolor.
18" x 20" Arches hot press

,

Note to self:

You can do all the watercolor you want to...but they're an expensive bish to get matted and framed, let alone sold.

"All About The Light" EA 2022.

Entirely transparent watercolor.

Let's see. Tisky Sour, Guardian Newws and James O'Brien LBC for UK topics. Some Chinese commentators and Ukraine war news. Occaisonal Robespierre. The Africa Channel.

Beau of the Fifth Column
Dr. Rashad Richie
Glenn Kirshchner
Some Farron Balanced, Meidas Touch and David Packman.

Reed Timmer for weather analysis. A whole collection of other interesting and stuff. And Real Estate.

I also just learned how to get my blackened forever pans back into this condition! It's YouTube, baby!

Twitter checkup log. Caught this tweet today. It's lively over there with resistors, but the games continue.

It's funny. A couple of mornings ago, I saw a crazy cloud formation over Sacramento, CA. It was just before dawn. I took some photos.

Today, a news article about the same clouds in the Bay area identified the structure as a Noctolucent cloud. It's supposed to be one of the rarest clouds.

Here it is!

FINALLY! After four tries, editing, pondering, starting with a blank, white sheet of watercolor paper and killing lots of darlings: All About The Light, 2022. I did the first one in the 1990's.
