I’m on the fence here, folks. What should I do about this? I had a long time friend come over last night. We were fine until he started spouting off about his support for #TFG, how wrong I was for supporting Kamala, and that I was “talking out of my ass” for doing so and not listening. My response: “You can’t fix crazy or stupid” and that he was rude and just left it like that. Everything was a little awkward afterwards. Should I or should I not continue this friendship?

@SaltyVeruca Yes….for about 8 years now. Just recently did this revelation within our friendship come to the forefront. I’m seriously torn because he’s been a great friend to me….but the fact that he got kind of combative with my simple disagreement with him makes me bristle with discomfort.
@Punisher1976 I don't know this person or you. I'd demand respect and put the topic off the table permanently at best. Just two cents.
@SaltyVeruca I told this same friend that very same thing that if he wanted to continue to hang out in the future that he has no right to do so at my place anymore, otherwise, peace be with him forever. He has been warned….if he does it again, he can hit the road for all I care. I’m sick of people acting uppity like they can just do whatever they please. Certain friendship protocols, no matter how old the friendship is, must be adhered to because that’s what keeps a friendship going. 🤷♂️
