I was reading an article and its responses online earlier where a guy got dumped due to his girlfriend taking an issue with him not “accepting God” even though he claimed to be Catholic. So essentially they believed in the same thing! 🤷♂️ The responses, predominantly in her favor, were despicable. “He should be ashamed of himself for not being Christian!” “Catholics don’t believe in God!”

@Punisher1976 Protestants, for centuries, have abhorred Catholicism, with its emphasis on saints, penance for sins, miracles, and the depiction of sacred figures like the Virgin Mary, among other things. Each sect regards the other as heretics and sinners, not the "true word of God." This has led to large scale violence in the past.
All I can say is: Thank God I'm an atheist!
