Got a sad update. An old friend went off the deep end after 2016, severing contact with everyone who wasn’t a TFG follower. She then lost her job, followed by her wife and kids due to her sudden and hostile extremism.
Found out today she’s continuing down the rabbit hole, won’t let her (new) kids see Little Mermaid because of a non-binary character, and is now a rabid flat earther.
Made me very sad.
@kay_dub I have an older brother (a college grad with a Masters in Finance) and several friends who are college grads and they too went down the MAGAt route and got more and more insane as time went on….so I had to cut them off completely too. Wished TFG would go away for good so these people would stop drinking his kool aid and get their brains back
