@see_the_sus She was such a character. I was the only one allowed in her bubble of contempt. The rest of the world got the teeth.

Our minute lovely spirit of hate and discontent has left us after a short battle with cancer. Miss Sheba Squeaks brought tiny flashing teeth and a humongous attitude to our household, and her absence will be keenly felt.
A montage of photos and a short video of a small chihuahua with a huge attitude.

Bunny says to let her know when the weekend gets here.
Video is a chihuahua hiding in a blanket. Only her nose and one blinking eye are visible.

Babs decided it was a good day to be a meathead, and attack The Scribe’s fingers. She’s determined that she's gonna gum them to bits. Just listen to the slobber sounds.

Pick your battles and then commit to them.
A chihuahua is play fighting with a Human. The Human says they’re going to knuckle his sandwich, and asks if he wants to fight while shaking a fist at him. He responds by jumping at the human’s hand and “gnawing” their knuckles.

We try to keep her away from anything that has guar gum due to her allergy, but she hates eating the things that she can have because they're sticky, and wants the things that she can't. An if you turn your back she'll try to steal someone else's canned food.

Sheba Squeaks is not feeling well right now. She’s not wanting to eat probably because she got into something with guar gum (ate one of the other dog’s soft foods.) Unfortunately she has no fat to provide a safety zone. I had to resort to a Sonic chicken strip. Not ideal but it’s nutrition which is the key right now.

Sassy hopes you have dreams as good as hers.
Video is a dachshund sleeping with her eyes cracked open and her tail going 90 miles an hour.

@ToolPackinMama I think we're going to call him Boson. Because he looks like a German Shepherd colored version of Higgs (who incidentally was our last intake), and because we're huge nerds.

@poemblaze All but a very limited number of dogs at the Sanctuary are under 25 lbs. It only gets loud around feeding time. The rest of the day they're mostly quiet. But they're all older than dirt too so that helps.

Allow me to introduce to you a nameless stranger who has joined us from a tiny rural animal control. He’s still scared and wary so he hasn’t shared his name with us yet. NS is a rather chonky 14 lbs, and he needs an intake vetting, but we’ll get all that sorted soon.
