@arunshah Sikhs served with the British and then Indian Armed Forces, sacrificed so much...Yet they are considered Hindus by the Indian Constitution. Up until a few years ago, there was no Sikh Marriage act and the Sikhs had to declare themselves as Hindu to get married!!!

Being only 2 percent of the Indian population, yet they comprise of almost half of the Indian Armed forces!!!

I know all this as I was brought up as a Sikh!!!
