@LnzyHou we're on shore power right now, but we're able to go completely off grid for 4-5 days at a time.
I alternate (2) 500W Jackerys with solar panel or shore power.
@LnzyHou Nice! I have a 4000w generator, but I also have panels, a bank of 6v 220ah (each) batteries, and an inverter.
Damn. You’re stylin’
@LnzyHou some of the best spots don't have power, I'm a little jealous though as I'm sure you can get way further off grid than I can. Gotta make compromises though to keep the whole family happy - wife wants max comfort, kids want amenities, and I just want to be out there.
I love the drive. The thought I can turn off any exit, change direction, stop at goofy roadside attractions or just pull over and sleep is the soul of a nomad.
I started as a kid on my Schwinn.
@LnzyHou It's been a good summer. We're closing in on 50 nights camped - Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York.
Great travels! My rig is much smaller. Lived/traveled in it 8 months before covid.
@LnzyHou size doesn't matter 😂
Just as long as you're out there seeing all there is to see 🙂.
@PrivacyL0st
Quite a rig. Generator or shore power?
