Reminder: Offline/disconnected environments exist. Stop writing software that *needs* to phone home during or after install. It's annoying and creates a lot of extra work for no reason beyond your own laziness - especially when your install package is hundreds of MBs to begin with.

...and I'm not being shitty about the normal phone home, just to say Hi, crap - though that is annoying too, but way less work to remedy.
Why a 300+MB install package needs to suddenly D/L another 1GB of crap is beyond me. If you're making a stupid large install package just include everything.
