Anne Milgram is saying that the gov't needs to get data from social media in order to fight the war on fentanyl. We know how much we can trust the gov't with expanded powers to raid said information banks. I don't trust this. This feels like misdirection.

Anne Milgram, the head of the DEA is saying that we have to go after every aspect of the network that is perpetuating the fentanyl problem. She seems to have a very large blind spot, which is the US gov't, itself. What is their contribution? They are not blameless in the drug war which is the precursor for this current issue.

And so Meet the Press is doing a "very special" after-school special about fentanyl.

Yes, I unfairly downplayed the seriousness of the problem. But I can't help but come back to this response to the "crack epidemic." This problem feels like a clear extension of that epidemic, and war, which was caused and fought by the same source: Reagan and the Bushs'.

This situation is WAY more complicated than what we're being told, and then all News are profit from its sensationalism, warranted or not

Ok, people, one of my favorites, Meet the Press is on tomorrow morning at 10 am EDT. We're going to start with that.

Chuck Todd has grown into quite a formidable journalist, even since the beginning of his moderation of said program. Alas, he's leaving soon, if he hasn't already. His replacement, Kristen Welker, is also quite good. However, I'd prefer her as an addition, rather than a replacement. Chuck is probably the perfect successor to Tim Russert (RIP).

See you people in the morning!

Came over from Twitter. Herr Musk is clearly on a mission to suppress dissent.

I'll be here, now. Thanks for all your support.
