It is done. Thank you to @th3j35t3r for the post last night about how to safeguard my twitter handle. Did it exactly as you explained and now I am twitter free! @PirateWenchArt is now a blank account that only follows Marvel :)

Must have missed this in the feed — sounds quite useful; what were the steps?

@wls create a new account
go to original account and change the @to something else, quickly go to new account and change the @to the name you want to safeguard. delete original account - name is now safe.
