Throwback Thursday; This is Jax. My lovebug. I miss him so much. He passed away a few years back but I often think of him. He was such a snuggle bunny.

I know this is a long shot, but if anyone is looking for unique Xmas gifts; I have these pendants (and a couple of bracelets). I made the center piece, so each piece is one of a kind. I'm selling for $15 a piece which includes first class mail in the US (which is over $5 now). I'm not making much but I can use whatever I get to help with heating bills this winter. I take Paypal.

When I was young, I spent hours at the record stores, perusing the vinyl; used and new. So many cool finds to be had. One thing the newer generations will never experience. Tower Records, The Record Factory, Wherehouse and many smaller used shops.

On my break at work. Then 45 minutes left. This afternoon I have an Orthopedic appt for a bad hip. Only took 3 weeks for the referral. Crossing my fingers. I need some relief.

Yesterday I left work a little early because it was so slow. I hate losing pay but I also hate having to LOOK busy when I'm not busy. I hope there's a little more to do this morning with less people in the office. Crossing my fingers. Have a splendid Wednesday!

@PowerpuffGeezer My wife and I buy a couple of small gifts for each other, mainly because she's into Christmas more than I am. We have an artificial tree that we put up as our only decor. If I give other gifts to members of her family, I usually make something. ๐Ÿ™‚

I remember a day when I had Christmas shopping done in July. Now, at the tail end of November and I haven't started yet. I feel less motivation each year. Is it just me? I just think it's more special to get gifts during the year, when you spot something you think someone will really enjoy and surprise them with it, rather than feel forced to buy gifts that people expect because a holiday has become a marketized.

One more day of work before the 4 day weekend. Let's hope it's better than yesterday. It's amazing how one person (department lead) can ruin your day. So, here's to a redo and another attempt at being cheerful!

I wonder what these two are talking about?

Good morning, 'Nauts! It's yet another Monday but I hope, like me, most of you will have a shortened week, thanks to Thanksgiving. Currently it's 29 outside with a real feel of 20. We are supposed to hit 39 today (heatwave!! LOL). At least free of snow for a few days. Grab your favorite brew this morning and enjoy your day the best you can! Remember to be kind.

Blossoms from our old plum tree. Already thinking about Spring!

People are people and there is good in everyone. Ask yourself why you hate people you don't even know. Above all: be kind.

My new tattoo is at that crusty-peely-tight phase that I love so much (/S). Can't wait for it to heal. Maybe more crusties will fall off in the shower. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚
