Good morning Cosonauts! It's Friday! I treated myself to a DNA kit on Ancestry since they were having a sale, that also included 3 months of international service, so now I can dig in on the genealogy again. I have some mysteries to solve.

Many of my ancestors came from Deptford in the UK. I traveled there in 2009 to visit places like this church, St. Paul.

I got my new tires, after two trips and almost a two hour wait. Then the sky dumped three inches of snow. Let's see how they measure up tomorrow morning. Hello anxiety. Goodnight 'Nauts.

I'm finally home. Stopped in to Discount Tire after work and bought 4 new tires. This morning's commute was NOT fun; very icy. I have to go back and get them put on later this afternoon (they were really busy!). More snow expected tomorrow so I want a little better traction. I was a nervous wreck when I got to work this morning.

Sedona, AZ; a must see if you ever travel there. The gorgeous red soil and rock formations among the greenery is spectacular.

All the smaller companies I've worked for always seem to show more employee appreciation; holiday parties with gifts, Thanksgiving turkey certificates. My current employer is having a giveaway. Maybe someone will be lucky to get a holiday gift on top of the enormous 2% raise. (Yes I'm being sarcastic).

Jerome is a small town in Northern AZ that boasts of a history during the gold rush. Many places there claim to be haunted. If you visit, stop in to the Haunted Hamburger for lunch.

Having looked at the weather report, I decided to go to work early yesterday after all and made up my lost time. Woke up to a little over an inch of snow and more is coming today. It's going to be a COLD weekend with highs 27-29 F.
