I went for a job interview at our local township last week. I didn't get the job. I was pretty bummed. The person vacating the position was retiring and here I am at 61, interviewing. I suspect they wanted someone younger, even though I still have plenty of years left in me. Ageism exists.

He said he would discuss a "new world order" that, he said, was coming to "replace the unipolar one". NEW WORLD ORDER. Let that sink in for a moment.

@cjcrew I've had several black kitties. Bash is the most recent. All my kitties are rescues. Thank you for taking in Arya. I'm sure she has a much better life now.

One guilty pleasure of mine is I like to watch car redo shows, especially when they turn them into hotrods or something really different. I don't know much about cars but I'm a sucker for these shows.
