My first visit to London as a tourist at leisure was 2103, and it was quite deliberately planned to coincide with the Roy Lichtenstein Retrospective expo at the Tate Modern. Lichtenstein is one of my great heroes.
I was fortunate in that family friends agreed to accommodate me for my stay free of charge, and they very generously showed me everything there is to see in that great city.
A trip that I shall never forget.

@JolieSaboteuse Last time there was 2009, for me. I spent 5 weeks in England and a cousin allowed me to stay with them and drove me all around. What a great trip. I'm so glad you have fond memories of it.
