In the winter months, I tend to ask myself why I chose to move to Michigan. But there are definite perks, especially if you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

@Pepstar Wife wants to move there. Family is in GR and Traverse City. It's just so.. flat.

@Graci @Pepstar lol. I went to Indianapolis in 1998. Someone asked me how I liked it. I said "Y'all are really nice, but it's awfully flat and somebody stole all y'all trees." πŸ˜‚

@researchbuzz @Pepstar It was hard for be to move from AZ and UT to the east. True mountains for rolling hills

@Graci @researchbuzz I lived most of my life in California, which I adored but it became too expensive. I then moved to Northern AZ. I can't say I loved the desert. After 14 yrs and being laid off due to Covid, we decided to move to MI. My wife is from MI and her family is here. I just have to get used to the winters, LOL. I LOVE the greenery and the lakes are magnificent.
