I think we have a plan. The cats are okay with knowing the other one is around. They're fine hearing and smelling and even touching each other under the door (they play pawsies, it's very cute) but they hiss and chase when they actually see each other. But not once have they drawn blood, or done more than just wrestle or smack each other (without the claws). So on Sunday, we're closing all bedroom and bathroom doors and putting them both in the living room with us to figure it out. #catsofcoso
We won't do it for very long, and I'll pull the plug at the first sign of it getting actually violent, but I'm exhausted from trying to keep them apart and it doesn't seem to be helping anything. They sleep in each other's carriers, share food and water and litter, and meow at each other through the door. They're basically friends until they're face to face lol
@shadow_queene We have five male cats. Same thing. They eat, sleep together but every day at least 3 of them end up fighting. We've tried the calming stuff. We have spray bottles all around the house. I told my wife that when these ones have passed on, I'm going back to female cats. Never had this issue before when we had females.
@shadow_queene I hope so too. Wishing you all the best!
