@PowerpuffGeezer My wife and I buy a couple of small gifts for each other, mainly because she's into Christmas more than I am. We have an artificial tree that we put up as our only decor. If I give other gifts to members of her family, I usually make something. 🙂

@PowerpuffGeezer It really has become a compromise and that's okay. I'm estranged from most of my family and the ones I'm close to are across country, so we spend a few hours at her family's place for food/gathering. It is what you make it, I guess. I hope you enjoy it with your partner!
