@Pepstar Right? It doesn't help that our Attila, the alarm clock cat, doesn't really grok the concept of "weekend", either.

@Eridani Dexter always starts meowing at least 30 minutes before I have to get up and it's non-stop until the bowl is in front of him. The rest of the cats fight until they're fed. I would give anything to sleep in just once.

@Pepstar I used to just leave their food out and let them graze. At least back then we could sleep through the night. It didn't stop Attila from waking us up a minute before the alarm. After all, he keeps a strict schedule, making sure my husband's out the door for work, making sure I'm in my office by 9... but with an insulin dependant diabetic cat in the house now, I can't leave the food out, so I get the "Oh gawd, we're STARVING" cries from everyone for an hour before I can feed them.

@Eridani We have a couple of chubbies and I can't leave food out. They get fed twice a day. I feel your pain though.
