CounterSocial just made the list of Twitter alternatives on a recent post from the Verge.

Exposure means growth, and growth means increased costs, so we need more people to step to paid accounts (aka pro). I will never pay for a Twitter or Facebook account, but I am *gladly* paying to support CoSo.
As those of us who can contribute, we make this community we're creating here available for more people to experience.
