@M5B1tch I've been doing BJD dolls since 2006. I still do a few Tonner dolls here and there but I prefer to work on resin over vinyl. I also love the bigger size dolls.
@Pepstar Wowww!! Very impressive!! Maybe someday I'll get the chance to try one of the bigger ones. Do you do all your costuming work too?
@M5B1tch I just do faces and body blushing. I can't really sew, so I have to rely on other talented designers. The harlequin outfit was made by a designer in Lebanon who donates all his profits to children with cancer.
@Pepstar Oh woww, that is so cool!! It must feel good knowing that you're able to help out sick children with your work!!
@M5B1tch well, only when I buy from him. I can't afford to do it too often but he's actually very reasonable for the work he does. There are designers and doll companies that also sell clothing/shoes/wigs etc. π
@Pepstar I had wanted to get into redoing dolls, but the secondhand stores were devoid of the kind that are so popular for that sort of thing right now. I managed to grab most of the other supplies though lol.
I love all the cool new looks doll artists are able to give them, especially when they get to drastically changing up the bodies and faces!!
Have you been customizing dolls for very long?
