Ah, a different perspective for this second half...

Unsurprisingly (given that I've read other books of hers), this was an impressive first half of this epic tale. On to the second.

While the third-person, open world, action/adventure game "Rise Of The Ronin" is rather similar to "Ghost Of Tsushima," it's also rather different, and in some interesting (and, also, terrible) ways. Here's the link to my review:

Very strong first / titular story. Excited for the rest.

A bit more spiritual than I usually like, but I'll allow it.

While there's corporate malfeasance at play in writer L.M. Sagas' new sci-fi space opera horror thriller novel "Cascade Failure," in my exclusive interview with her, she says she's also "...trying to inject a little ... optimism back into it."

Can already tell this is going to be heavy, unique, and a real ride.

Though not one of the better novels, or even one of the better novels, it was still rather eventful, and for that it was interesting.

Read Katie Farris' "A Net To Catch My Body In its Weaving: Poems" tonight.

While some of his stories failed to impress me, this one is okay so far.

While science fiction is often about the future, it also has a past. In this exclusive interview with editor / translator Bodhisattva Chattopadhyay, he discusses the new sci-fi short story and novella collection "The Inhumans And Other Stories: A Selection of Bengali Science Fiction."

Though not one of his masterworks, this was still interesting in a "are you still paranoid if they're really out to get you?" kind of way.

While you don't want to see how the sausage is made when you're talking about, well, sausage, it's okay for other things. Which reminds me: Here's the link to my exclusive interview with Ashley Esqueda, writer of the video game making-of art book, "The Art of Psychonauts 2."

Well, this one really hit the ground running...

In my new interview with author Jane Hennigan, she discusses "Toxxic," the companion novel to her dystopian, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi mystery novel "Moths," about a world in which good men are in short supply.

Another good book of poetry from this guy. I mean his paragraphs. I mean his writing stuff.

In this exclusive interview about her queer noir technothriller novella "These Fragile Graces, This Fugitive Heart," author Izzy Wasserstein says "I don’t set out to write about social and political topics [but] as a trans woman, I’m constantly being reminded that my existence is political."
