I see on here ppl asking for money as they are in need. I am trying to understand why they need the money. Are they not working, disabled, immobile? What’s the reason they can’t make ends meet. Sorry if you don’t think it’s my business but when people ask for money, and give no background, it makes it extremely difficult to figure out why it happened or is needed before one makes a decision to help those in need
@Patti1120 I feel uncomfortable when the first or second post is one asking for money.
@BillieBun me too. I want to help but some of the reasonings behind some of these requests are quite questionable at the very least
@BillieBun I swear to you I’m the same way. I never think about asking others for help. It’s my pride and nothing more. When I moved out on my own, I was under the impression you don’t ask for help and you live life and struggle. It’s what made me the woman I am today to be honest. I know what it’s like not to have money or food to eat. Never thought of reaching out for help, just did without.
@Patti1120 I mean, hell, I could use money myself... I can't afford to take my dogs or cats to the vet, I'm falling behind on bills, I can't afford to go to the doctor or dentist, but it would take a lot for me to ask strangers for money. I've actually given small amounts of money to help others, I have yet to ask for any.
